Their mission is to remove barriers to contraception through education, outreach, and access to free birth control. Yes, you read that right - FREE!

Join us for our first Nightingale Network event of 2024 at Signal Centers! We're kicking off the year with a Happy Hour at 109 N Germantown Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411. Fun fact: one of their programs, Family Forward, was one of our 2023 Nightingale grant finalists!

In addition to celebrating a successful 2023 Nightingale Network Grant Cycle, we will get to network and take a tour of Habitat’s Warehouse and all the work they do to address affordable housing in our community. We hope you will join us for our 2023 Voices luncheon. This fun and informative event has traditionally has over 450 people in attendance. Doors open at 10:45 a.m. for networking, Power of the Purse Silent Auction, and champagne. From 11:30 a.m.-1:00p.m. guests will enjoy lunch and a dynamic program.
This year, our program will include powerful and personal stories from three local women-Amanda Leming, Dr. Monkia, and Tangela Johnson. They will highlight key legislative priorities addressed by WFGC including human trafficking and financial abuse. By sharing their own lived experience and the power of advocacy, our speakers will inspire us to continue to come together to create a space for all women and girls to thrive.

Join us for our June Nightingale Network Event. This month, Nightingale Network Committee Member Alayna Best will be hosting. We will come together to help pack summer meals for kids at the J.A. Henry Community YMCA to support their food program and network with one another. Snacks and drinks will be provided for Nightingales and guests.
This webinar will focus on educating our intergenerational communities about women's and girls' bodies to celebrate menstrual health. Additionally, we will discuss how each of us can contribute to alleviating period poverty. Looking forward to seeing you there!

BOLD & BRAVE is our advocacy day focused on building a more just, equitable, and inclusive Tennessee for all women and girls by empowering us to lead and succeed at the heart of our State.
We will head to Nashville on April 12, 2023 for a “Day on the Hill” full of empowerment and advocacy. A tentative schedule will be posted shortly. Meanwhile, the framework for the day is as follows:
